Anthony AI for Teams

Everything admins and users need to deploy, configure, and get the most out of Anthony AI inside Microsoft Teams.

Overview

Anthony AI is an AI-powered IT support assistant that lives inside Microsoft Teams. It provides small and medium businesses (1–30 employees) with enterprise-grade IT support without the need for a dedicated IT team or ticketing system.

Users chat with Anthony AI in natural language to troubleshoot tech issues, create documents, conduct web research, and, when chat isn't enough, initiate Vision remote support sessions where Anthony AI can see and control a user's desktop to diagnose and fix problems directly.

All responses from Anthony AI are generated by artificial intelligence. Outputs should be reviewed by the user before acting on them. Anthony AI clearly labels its responses as AI-generated within the chat experience.

Admin Setup & Deployment

Teams administrators can deploy Anthony AI across their organization with no infrastructure setup required. The app runs entirely as a cloud service: there is nothing to host, configure, or maintain on your end.

Install from the Teams App Store
Search for "Anthony AI" in the Microsoft Teams app store. Admins can install it for themselves or deploy it organization-wide through the Teams Admin Center.

No configuration required
Anthony AI works immediately after installation. There are no API keys, webhooks, or service accounts to configure. Each user's subscription and usage is managed independently within the app.

Manage access (optional)
Use standard Teams app permission policies in the Admin Center to control which users or groups can access Anthony AI. No special roles or permissions are required beyond standard Teams access.
Rollout tip: Start by deploying to a pilot group of 2–5 users. Once they're comfortable, use Teams app setup policies to make Anthony AI available org-wide. Users subscribe individually, so no central billing setup is needed.

Getting Started (Users)

Once your admin has made Anthony AI available, any team member can get started in under a minute.

Open Anthony AI in Teams
Find Anthony AI in your Teams apps list and open a personal chat. Say hello and Anthony will walk you through onboarding and subscription setup automatically.

Start chatting
Ask Anthony anything: troubleshoot a printer, draft a document, research a vendor, set up email on your phone. Anthony handles it conversationally: no tickets, no forms, no waiting.

Enable Vision (optional)
When a problem can't be solved through chat alone, Anthony will offer to connect via Vision remote support. See the Vision section below for setup details.

Vision Remote Support

Vision allows Anthony AI to see your screen and take control of your mouse and keyboard to fix problems directly. Every session is user-initiated, user-approved, and can be terminated instantly.

Download the desktop companion app
Available for Windows 11 and macOS 26. The app installs a lightweight tray icon and only activates when you start a session.

Generate a one-time code
Click the Anthony AI icon in your system tray to generate a 6-digit verification code. This code is single-use and expires after the session.

Paste the code into Teams
Share the code in your Teams chat with Anthony AI. Once verified, the Vision session begins. A floating HUD shows the remaining time, session status, and pause/stop controls.

Watch and stop anytime
You can see everything Anthony does in real time. Click Stop on the HUD or close the app at any time to immediately end the session.
Session limits: All Vision sessions are capped at 20 minutes to ensure focused, efficient support and predictable costs. If more time is needed, you can start a new session.

AI-Generated Content

Anthony AI is powered by large language models. All chat responses, document drafts, troubleshooting suggestions, and web research summaries are generated by artificial intelligence.

Important: AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Users should review all outputs before acting on them, especially for critical business decisions. Anthony AI is designed to assist, not replace, human judgment.

If you encounter content that appears inaccurate, inappropriate, or objectionable, you can report it directly by emailing support@anthonyai.com with a description of the issue. We review all reports and continuously improve content quality and safety filters.

Anthony AI is built with security-first architecture on Microsoft Azure. We process data in real time and minimize what we store.

Never stored

Vision screenshots are processed in real time and immediately discarded; they are never written to disk or stored in any database. All Vision connections are encrypted end-to-end through Cloudflare Zero Trust networking. Chat conversations are used to build your company's private knowledge base and are never shared with other tenants.

Limitations:

• Anthony AI requires an active subscription. A Microsoft 365 account with Teams access is required to use the app.
• Vision remote support requires the desktop companion app (Windows or macOS). Vision is not available on mobile or web-only Teams clients.
• All Vision sessions are capped at 20 minutes per session.
• Anthony AI is currently available in English only.
• Available worldwide, no region restrictions.
