Anthony AI works with sensitive systems and business conversations. Here is exactly how remote sessions work, what data is processed, where the product runs, and what controls you keep.

Anthony never connects without user approval.

Every Vision remote support session starts with an explicit action from the user. The user opens the Anthony AI desktop app, copies a one-time verification code, and pastes it into the Teams chat. Anthony cannot initiate a connection on its own. There is no background access, no silent connection, no always-on agent.

If the code is not pasted, nothing happens. If the user closes the desktop app, the session ends immediately.

What happens during a Vision remote support session.

User starts the session. The user opens the Anthony AI desktop app, copies the one-time code, and pastes it in Teams.
Anthony connects. The connection is established through encrypted infrastructure. Anthony can now see the screen and control mouse and keyboard.
The user watches in real time. Every action Anthony takes is visible on screen as it happens. Nothing is hidden.
Anthony works the problem. Diagnostics, configuration changes, app repairs, driver installs. Each action is reflected back in the Teams chat.
Session ends. The session ends when the fix is complete, the 20-minute cap is reached, or the user closes the app. Anthony immediately loses access to the device.
Summary posted. Anthony posts a summary in Teams: what was changed, why, and what to do if the problem returns.

What data is processed during support.

During a Vision remote support session, Anthony analyzes what is visible on screen to diagnose and fix the issue. Session screenshots are processed in real time for troubleshooting and are not permanently stored after the session ends.

During chat conversations, Anthony processes the text of your messages, your company's knowledge base entries, and any relevant context from previous conversations to provide accurate support.

⚠️ Sensitive content reminder

Before starting a Vision session, close any banking, payroll, HR, or other sensitive content you do not want visible during the session. Anthony processes what is on screen to do its job. Minimizing sensitive windows beforehand is the simplest way to keep that information private.

Where the product runs.

Anthony AI runs on cloud infrastructure and uses a small set of providers for AI, payments, web delivery, and remote support. Here is what each provider does and when it is involved.

How customer data is separated.

Your company's conversations, knowledge base, and support history are logically isolated from every other customer. One customer's data is not visible to or accessible by another. Knowledge base entries are scoped to your organization.

What Anthony is not for.

Anthony AI is designed for everyday SMB IT support. It is not a substitute for incident response, regulated compliance projects, critical infrastructure administration, or enterprise security operations. Fixes are best-effort. When a problem is beyond what Anthony can safely handle, you get a full diagnostic summary to hand to a specialist.

Before you start a Vision session.

Pre-session checklist
  • Close banking, payroll, and HR tabs or windows
  • Close any documents with confidential client information
  • Close personal messaging apps if you prefer
  • Save any open work in progress
  • Make sure the Anthony AI desktop app is running
  • Copy your one-time code and paste it into Teams

Compliance posture.

Anthony AI does not currently hold SOC 2 certification. SOC 2 is planned but not yet complete. Today's controls include: encrypted connections, isolated customer data, user-approved sessions with one-time codes, real-time session visibility, automatic session timeouts, and action logging reflected in Teams chat.
