When Anthony asks to use Vision.
During a chat troubleshooting session, Anthony may determine that a problem requires direct access to the computer. When that happens, Anthony asks permission to start a Vision remote support session. The user always initiates the connection. Anthony never connects on its own.
How the one-time code works.
The Anthony AI desktop companion app generates a one-time verification code. The user copies this code and pastes it into the Teams chat. This code is the only way to establish a connection. It expires after use and cannot be reused. If the code is not pasted, nothing happens.
How a Vision session works, start to finish.

Anthony suggests Vision. During chat troubleshooting, Anthony determines remote access would resolve the issue faster.

User opens the desktop app. The Anthony AI companion app runs in the system tray on Windows or the menu bar on Mac.

User copies the one-time code. The app displays a verification code. The user copies it and pastes it into the Teams chat.

Connection established. Anthony can now see the screen and control mouse and keyboard through encrypted infrastructure.

Anthony works the problem. Diagnostics, configuration changes, app repairs, driver installs. The user sees every action on screen in real time.

Each action is logged. Anthony reflects what it is doing back in the Teams chat so there is a full record.

Session ends. The session ends when the fix is complete, the 20-minute cap is reached, or the user closes the app.

Summary posted. Anthony posts what was changed, why, and what to do if the problem returns. The fix is added to your company's knowledge base.

What Anthony will not do without approval.
Anthony never does any of the following without explicit user permission:
- Connect to a computer (requires one-time code from the user)
- Access files, folders, or applications outside the scope of the reported issue
- Install software without explaining what it is and why
- Make system changes that are not directly related to the fix
- Continue a session after the user closes the desktop app
Before you start a session.
Sensitive content reminder
- Close banking, payroll, and HR tabs or windows
- Close documents with confidential client information
- Close personal messaging apps if you prefer
- Save any open work in progress
Anthony processes what is visible on screen to diagnose and fix the issue. Minimizing sensitive windows before connecting is the simplest way to keep that information private.
How to end a session instantly.
Close the Anthony AI desktop app. The session ends immediately. Anthony loses all access to the device. You can also wait for the 20-minute cap, which terminates the session automatically.
After the session ends
The remote session has ended. Anthony no longer has access to your device. A summary of what was changed and why is posted to your Teams chat, and the fix is added to your company's knowledge base for future reference.
Need more than 20 minutes?
Vision sessions cap at 20 minutes to keep context sharp and costs predictable. If the fix needs more time, paste a new code and tell Anthony to keep going. A new session starts fresh with full context from the previous one.
